The Caleb Fund is focused on serving, supporting and, when necessary, rescuing vulnerable children who are at risk, including their single parent, caregiver or family struggling with them. And now in our lifetime, a young Joshua generation is especially awakened to this need and are going into dark places around the world to bring light, hope and tangible resources to free them and to enable them achieve their God given potential.
Caleb and Joshua, of course, are immortalized in Scripture in Numbers, Chapter 13-14, (4th book of the Torah/Old Testament respectively). After decades in the wilderness, the people of Israel had finally arrived at the outskirts of the land of Canaan which God had promised them. It was a beautiful and fertile region. It was also heavily fortified and defended by tall, strong and robust people. Moses deployed a representative from each of the 12 tribes of Israel to “spy out the land.” Ten of the leaders brought back a fearful report and recommended retreat. Caleb and Joshua urged the people to trust God and His promises. Their faith and courage affirmed that they could in fact take down these “giants.”
It is in the New Testament that we understand fully that the real enemy harming our children, these “giants”, are not flesh and blood but, “rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world, and spiritual forces of evil” (Ephesians 6:12). Once again, as we trust God and His promises we will “tear down strongholds”, we will take down these evil spiritual giants who hurt our children (2 Corinthians 10: 3-5). In addition to our website, the ongoing journey of The Caleb Fund and our focus on children will be broadcast on my podcast “Tearing Down Strongholds.” Join us weekly on this journey!
And since we are at WAR against the principalities and powers of darkness, please pray for The Caleb Fund that we will be blessed with:
* Wisdom * Allies * Resources
THANK YOU so much - - - - Dr. Ralph Plumb

Children are among God’s most precious gifts to us. They are close to the heart of the Father. “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 19:14). “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 18:3). “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him . . . blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them (Ps. 127: 3,5).
Because of His special love for children, the temporal enemy of God and humankind – Satan, has made their corruption and destruction a high priority. Globally, there are 2.4 billion children under the age of 18, and in every country, many are “at-risk” - victims of poverty, abandonment, violence and violation. We, who love and serve God, have the awesome responsibility to provide care, sustenance and protection by bringing light into many dark places. Today, more than ever, we must be actively aware, constant in prayer and initiate solutions boldly.
Children become vulnerable for many reasons outside of their control. These are twelve categories that The Caleb Fund especially focuses on:
• The Conceived – a gestating child, alive with a soul and spirit from conception, who face the peril of being aborted
• The Orphan — left alone by the death or abandonment of their parent(s)
• The Refugee (or IDPs)—forced to flee their home, region or country living in dangerous circumstances; internally displaced persons are at-risk in their own country
• The Trafficked — innocents forced into hard labor, sexual exploitation organ harvesting and other forms of evil
• The Persecuted — restricted, injured or killed by communists, Islamic jihadists, radical humanists or any authorities, hostile to Judeo-Christian values
• The Indoctrinated – taught anti-God, cultural Marxist-based critical theory, gender perversion, hate their country and more – especially in many of our public schools
• The Enticed — gamers, excessive internet surfers, spiritually lost in the meta verse for untold hours daily; predators traverse these digital platforms more than we realize
• The Trapped — those suffering from physical or emotional abuse, gang and cartel members, all types of spiritual bondage, coerced or mutated before their maturity.
• The Resourced – children of loving, economically sufficient parent(s), with a terminal illness or acute medical / psychological condition, addictions, dysphoria and more.
• The Poor — with loving parent(s) doing their best, but are underemployed or homeless, living in a car or temporary shelter, born into multigenerational poverty or unjust, oppressive societies, and many other reasons.
• The Chosen – The children of the lineage of Abraham, David, Jesus – in Israel and throughout the diaspora; Satan is the reason for rampant antisemitism.
• The Apprentice – children of destiny, in every country and territory on earth, who are eager, bright and need opportunity for education, vocational training and spiritual guidance to thrive.
We serve as a conduit, catalyst and connector between and amongst stakeholders . . . those working in organizations or individually in programs that serve vulnerable children . . . with those who are inspired to give, support and pray for them. Our mission is straightforward: to connect need with resource through Prayer, People and Provision. We inform covering prayer intercessors with specific concerns, support the deployment of people called to short term assignments, and offer tangible financial resources for organizations and individuals who rescue and care for at-risk children.
We live in perilous times. But in this season God wants us to think, plan and expedite - on a much larger scale – to “aggregate” and “accelerate” the good work that is successfully implemented in each area of service to children. This is not a time for hesitation or inaction, but to live with awareness, engagement and urgency.
The Caleb Fund maintains a relationship with “vetted” groups of organizations in specific areas of service focused on children. For larger organizations we supplement their program objectives and revenue goals. But we are especially supportive of smaller or mid-sized organizations who struggle with the demands of fund development. We also are developing a fund for “vetted” individuals who do not retain an organizational affiliation, but have a desire and calling to serve in a short-term capacity.
